2. THE GADGET (About the Book)
Case Alzheimer's is an "informational fiction" spy-thriller for kids ages 5-10. Here is how the mission unfolds:
PHASE 1: The Mission at Brain HQ
Agent H.M. is called to the Prefrontal Cortex by Big Boss. The brain is glitching, files have disappeared, and mysterious tangles are taking over!
PHASE 2: The Word Warehouse
At Broca's and Wernicke's areas, H.M. discovers a "Class-8 Aphasia" where tangles are strangling the glowing word-orbs.
PHASE 3: Emotion-Land
Jumping the Synaptic Gap on a Signal Scooter, H.M. arrives at the Amygdala to find the rollercoaster rides out of whack and weeds causing emotional glitches.
PHASE 4: Saving the Archives
At the Hippocampus Data Library, the New Data Section is completely blocked by weeds. While new memories can't be saved, H.M. discovers the Deep Archives of old memories are still safe!

We are launching our curriculum this November across local elementary schools in Livingston, NJ. We are bringing the book and an interactive STEM/Neuroscience Author Visit to 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade science classrooms.
